Sweet Goodbye

There are some times
When you have had a lovely day
Being with family or a friend
That you find it difficult to say good-bye
And admit that it must end.

But what a blessing it is
To have those you love so much
That the desire of each heart
Is stay close enough to touch.

How wonderful to say good bye
And shed a sweet sentimental tear
And know that it is only for a little while
Until again they will be near.

So should it be when death parts us
From someone we dearly love
For we shall be reunited with them
Some glad day in God's Heaven above.
